Sweet Surrender..

Em, finally got my oncall claim today..my life saver..
Bila dah kerja and malu nak mintak duit mak abah, every cent counts.
The problem now is, i just couldnt say no to BIG SALE and i really believe in retail therapy to bring smile back to my face any day…shopaholic eh?

But i never knew things could be as bad as last week…

It started end of January actually..27th January was my birthday, so i spoilt myself a bit..bought a new handbag, few new clothes, few movies and fine dinner with my hubby dearie..

Then for all gov servant, February’s payday was on the 12th. And there was CNY sale. So, spoilt myself some more..hehe

It was followed by my hubby’s birthday. Bought him some birthday presents and spend nice time together..so, money out again..

Lepas tu, Kus will be going back to Bintulu mid of March for work. Im not suppose to folllow, but it will be very nice to be back to Bintulu jumpa mak mertua & all. So, degil as always, i pun beli tiket MAS, which was actually more than double the price AirAsia would offer so that we’ll be on the same flight. A big minus again in my bank account..

Then, the day came when my dad’s old Mercs which i drive now broke down. Tak bule start. So,pay for new battery. But that was the beginning…it actually broke down again! Alternator rupanya yg rosak. So, tukar alternator, and tukar bateri lagi sbb yg baru tu ruined by the malfunctioned alternator…cost me 1k+ on that car alone..

Now, u wonder why i didnt ask money from my husband…
Em, sbb dia lagi malang. He actually draw money from the atm (1k+ to pay for house rent and bills) but the money didnt come out. Happened to me and u before right? But unfortunately the bank already deducted that amount from the account and it will take them 2 weeks to refund it.

Then things actually get worse when he draw another 1k+, but the money was stolen when he was in the gym! (California Fitness goers beware for silent thief around you!) Ada 2,3 orang lagi yg kena curik jugak masa tu..

Mmg rasa malang giler..

So, i hope u understand why the oncall claim today is my life saver…

Was it bad luck, a test, or a lesson?
Anyway, i still believe that money is not everything..but my husband didnt agree with that..he said if money is not everything, why everything needs money??.

I couldnt answer that, but i know i didnt marry him for his money..hehe..

The best lessons here:
1. Never carry big amount of cash in your wallet
2. If you had problem with your car battery, also check the alternator
3. U might get your oncall claim a bit late, so dont overspend…
4. Finally, just pray hard that thing like these didnt happen so often, and if it does happen, pray harder that it didnt get worse…
